The Basotho Team is part of the new Kingdom to Kingdom Cluster in Sub-Sahara Africa. Mar. 27- Apr. 1, we had the privilege of getting to know, worshiping with, and learning from IMB missionaries from South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Zambia who minister to people groups similar to the Basotho in language and culture. It was a blessed time of training and spiritual refreshment.

The focus of ministry in Lesotho this past month has been evangelism training in the existing Baptist churches. Our desire is for Basotho to reach Basotho with the gospel. Church members have been studying what it means to be a witness for Christ, and learning how to share their salvation testimony and a story we call Creation to Christ as tools for sharing their faith. Soon, participants will take what they’ve learned and go door to door into villages near the churches as well as new areas, sharing with other Basotho.

We are excited to welcome Justin and Korby to the Basotho team. These Journeymen will serve for 2 yrs in remote mountain villages of Lesotho. They will be good company for Eli and the rest of us when they come down the mountain from time to time to restock.
