Praising…

The village of Mapaleng has asked us to come weekly to hold Bible study.

There were 90 present at this week’s Bible study at Ha Kinini.

Teresa has passed her Lesotho Nursing exam!

The HIV/AIDS Care Kits sent from the US have cleared cus-toms and we have over 100 to distribute to help those caring for family members dying of AIDS. Teresa will teach the families how to care for the patient and Jim will present the gospel at each house we visit.

Rumor has it that they are releasing our land "soon"!

Only 6 more weeks and our oldest son, Jim, will set foot on African soil!

We continue to make relationships with people living in the Ka-tse Village area and those in our own home village of Makoarane in Mokhotlong.

We are understanding more and more Sesotho. Jim is speaking more and more. Teresa is speaking.

Praying...

We will be traveling to Mokhotlong on April 12, 2010. We will be joined by our cluster leader, Daren Davis and Hands On Missionary Jonathan (JB) Bundrick. Our team for the week will include Sefiri and Tspeo, both Lesotho nationals and our language tutors.

Schedule for the week:

Tuesday—Visit Makoarane Village Chief’s wife. Follow up on previous visits with those whom we have shared Christ;. Pick up Daren and JB at the Mokhotlong airstrip.

Wednesday—Jim, Daren, JB, and Tsepo travel by horseback to remote villages surrounding Makoarane. The only access to many of these villages is by foot or horseback. Teresa, Gracie, Anna, Bekah, and Sefiri will hold mini medical clinic.

Thursday—Return Daren to airstrip. Train the local village health care workers to use the HIV/AIDS Care Kits. This group of women includes several African Tradi-tional Medicine ‘healers’. Visit those dying of AIDS in our village. Train family members to use the Care Kits. Share the gospel in each home.

Friday—Return to Katse. Shepherd Ministry in the highlands as we leave Mokhotlong region.

Saturday—Village church in Makoabateng.

Sunday—Village church in Mapaleng.

L-A-N-G-U-A-G-E!!

Pray for the release of our land and our relocation to Mokhotlong.
