He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee,  that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise."  And they remembered his words,  and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.  (Luk 24:6-9)

Dear Faithful Prayer Partners,

Jeso Kriste, O tsohile, O tsohile ‘nete!  Jesus Christ, He is risen, He has risen indeed!

Greetings in the name of our blessed Savior Jesus Christ.  We wish you a happy Easter and many blessings.  For us today, Good Friday, has already arrived.  Most of you are still asleep as it should be.  But as you wake to greet the day, we hope you will take time to remember the works of Christ through His pain and suffering so very long ago on that old rugged cross.  I always get sad when I meditate on these things and yet realizing that it was through His stripes that we are healed, I am so thankful…because I know He is the only hope of salvation.  Rejoice this Sunday as you celebrate His resurrection knowing that because He arose, we shall also arise to be with Him in Heaven forever.

We returned from Johannesburg last Saturday.  Yesterday our dear friends Johanne and Corne from South Africa arrived with a team of 50 to work with in the mountains.  This is the largest team ever!  How they have blessed us already.  They arrived just before dusk and set up camp.  As the night approached, they prepared to show the Jesus film followed by preaching and the opportunity to receive the Savior.  Please pray that those sensitive to the workings of the Holy Spirit will participate in a follow up discipleship Bible study after the team departs on Sunday.  Today we will do hut to hut evangelism and show the film again when evening comes.  The team has made preparations to provide a meal for some 200 children in the village.  Please pray that as food is given, these children will see the love of Christ and be touched by the Provider of all spiritual food and salvation Pray for the team as they minister to the Basotho in these villages and pray that God will also give each team member a life changing experience this weekend of knowing Him deeper.  For some, this is their first mission trip.  It is always exciting for us to watch as God moves and reveals more of Himself to us as we engage lostness with teams.  We continue to be students of His moving in the hearts of not only the team and those they minister to but also within our own hearts.  God is so huge and just gets huger (is that a real word?) to us!

Also please pray for the teams that will arrive soon…

We thank each of you who joined with us in our 30 day virtual prayer walk to pray for the Basotho.  It is still online and we pray that you will continue to visit the site and pray for the Basotho.  We praise God for those who did the work to make this prayer walk happen…. Scotty Davis, Director of Mission Team, Inc. ( www.missionteaminc.com );  videographer and computer expert guru Bradley and Pastor Chris (all from Georgia).  They did a marvelous job! If you haven’t visited the website www.prayforthebasotho.org or www.basotho.org or Youtube…it is not too late.  Please check it out and join us in praying for the Basotho. To Scotty and the team….our heartfelt appreciation!  To Jayne W., our MO team prayer advocate, we also say thanks for her continued support and work on behalf of the Basotho.  And to C and A…what would we do without you to keep people connected with prayer for our people through your work with our website?!  Thank you.  God bless you all for your heart for the Basotho and for the lost everywhere.
