Let no one look down on your
youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity,
show yourself an example of those
who believe. 1 Timothy 4:12 |

Dear Prayer Partners,
An important part of each village worship service, is
the time of witness or testimony. Without fail, most Basotho who testify
begin with, “I thank God for life.” It is not trite or redundant.
Their lives are fragile and can change drastically from one week to the
next. On Sundays and in village Bible studies, Basotho are learning
about the One true God that loved them enough to give His only Son so
that they could have eternal life. The truth of God’s Word is slowly
cracking the barriers of traditional practices, false teaching, and
general apathy towards the things of God. We pray to soon hear new
testimonies that will proclaim, “I thank God for life in Jesus.”
There is much to be thankful for this month.
Pray
with us as we thank God for:
The start of a new outreach group,
Safety and health, training of a national in the True
Love Waits program,
Continued interest in village Bible study,
Zachary’s 18th birthday,
The Flora family, a newly appointed IMB missionaries to
serve in the mountains of Lesotho,
Leadership training in the newest church and one
existing Baptist church,
Music ministry opportunities for Zachary and Eli,
The many friends, family members, and partners who
faithfully stand with us in prayer.
Pray
with us also as we seek God for:wisdom
and direction in teaching ESL to Chinese factory workers in Maseru,
direction and cooperation in teaching and
training in an existing Baptist church, help in finding
committed interpreters,
Help in language learning,
Basotho who are passionate to share Christ with other
Basotho,
Open doors to work alongside other Great Commission
organizations.
For our Southern Baptist supporters,
we want you to know how grateful we are for
your faithful giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Your gifts
make our ministry - and the ministries of more than 5,600 IMB
missionaries serving around the world - possible. Countless souls will
one day worship around His throne because you chose to sacrifice for the
sake of the Gospel. May God's richest blessings be yours as you partner
with us to proclaim the love of Jesus Christ to all nations. To give you
a “picture” of how your giving was used in the lowlands of Lesotho this
past year, visit our website at
www.basotho.org
to view the Lottie Moon emphasis PowerPoint. We hope
that many of you will be able to share this presentation within your
church during the upcoming Christmas season.
